Life & Activities
From familiar music playing in the background to shared moments over meals or puzzles, we create opportunities for residents to feel connected and at ease. With a calm setting, steady routines, and activities tailored to individual comfort, each day offers small, meaningful moments that make a difference.
The front music room—with its digital baby grand piano—is the heart of many joyful moments. Residents often gather there or in the main living room to enjoy live music, sing along with familiar tunes, or chat with returning volunteers who have become part of the rhythm of the home. Especially during holidays, these simple gatherings bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of community.
Our backyard offers the kind of peace that’s easy to take for granted. Gentle breezes, rustling trees, the scent of fresh-cut grass, or the warmth of a summer evening—residents enjoy these small comforts from the shade of the covered patio or a sunny spot in the yard. Caregivers are always nearby to help residents enjoy fresh air safely, and it’s a welcoming place for quiet conversation when loved ones come to visit.
Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals each day, served around the table in our cozy dining area. We also keep residents' favorite snacks on hand—whether it’s mini Cokes, frozen Snickers bars, or green bananas—so there’s always something comforting nearby.
Meals follow a steady rhythm, but we’re flexible—offering extra support or a bite between meals whenever someone needs it.
MOMENTS THAT MATTER
Our meals are home-cooked with care and designed to be both comforting and nutritious. We use fresh ingredients whenever possible and follow a rotating menu that’s reviewed by a licensed dietitian. Red plates and larger dinnerware help residents with dementia better see their food, and we’re always happy to accommodate individual dietary needs and preferences.
Our daily activities are simple, familiar, and centered on connection. Residents enjoy music, classic films, puzzles, sensory engagement, and quiet conversation with caregivers or volunteers. We welcome musicians, school groups, and neighbors throughout the year—especially around holidays—to help bring warmth and variety into the home.

"I have been seeing patients at this facility as a doctor of physical therapy for the last three months. Every time I visit the staff has been significantly caring for the residents, such a clean and peaceful environment. The residents meal has always been nutritious and delicious. The staff has been engaging with the residents at all times while providing care and supervision. I would definitely recommend for friends and family members. I enjoy treating my patients at this facility."
